Resumo: | The objective of the research was to analyze the environmental perception of the surrounding residents and municipal managers about the Passagem (RN) reservoir. To obtain the data, questionnaires were applied to the residents and interviews with the managers of the municipalities of Rodolfo Fernandes, Itaú and Severiano Melo. The scripts, consent letters and Informed Consent Form (ICF) were approved by the Research Ethics Committee - UERN CEP (Protocol CAAE-64232317.1.0000.5294). The results show that the reservoir is not used as a source of supply but uses the ebb for the cultivation of temporary crops, and there is also an affective bond between residents and the reservoir. However, the analyzed municipalities do not have planning and management about the reservoir. |

El objetivo de la investigación fue analizar la percepción ambiental de los residentes circundantes y gerentes municipales sobre el embalse Passagem (RN). Para obtener los datos, se aplicaron cuestionarios a los residentes y entrevistas con los gerentes de los municipios de Rodolfo Fernandes, Itaú y Severiano Melo. Los guion, las cartas de consentimiento y el término de consentimiento libre e informado (TCLI) fueron aprobados por el Comité de Ética de Investigación - UERN CEP (Protocolo CAAE-64232317.1.0000.5294). Los resultados muestran que el embalse no se utiliza como fuente de suministro, sino que utiliza el reflujo para el cultivo de cultivos temporales, y también existe un vínculo afectivo entre los residentes y el reservorio. Sin embargo, los municipios analizados no cuentan con planificación y gestión acerca del embalseO objetivo da pesquisa foi analisar a percepção ambiental de residentes do entorno e gestores municipais sobre o reservatório Passagem (RN). Para a obtenção dos dados foram aplicados questionários junto aos residentes e entrevistas junto aos gestores dos municípios de Rodolfo Fernandes, Itaú e Severiano Melo. Os roteiros, cartas de anuência e Termo de Consentimento Livre e Esclarecido (TCLE) foram aprovados pelo Comitê de Ética de Pesquisa – CEP da UERN (Protocolo CAAE-64232317.1.0000.5294). Os resultados mostram que o reservatório não é utilizado como fonte de abastecimento mas usam a vazante para o cultivo de culturas temporárias, existindo também um elo afetivo dos residentes e o reservatório.
