Resumo: In this article, I demonstrated the relation of Memory with Oral History and Afro-Brazilian Intangible Heritage. I pointed out the theoretical aspects and praxis of an Oral History capable of offering some basis for the safeguarding of Intangible Heritage. For that, I proposed a dynamic dialogue with different concepts of Memory, especially as understood by Joël Candau and Maurice Halbwachs. I presented different concepts in dialogue with authors specializing in Intangible Heritage, such as: Maria Amélia Jundurian Corá, Chiara Bortolotto and Ulpiano Toledo Bezerra de Menses. In addition, I identified procedures constructed by José Carlos Sebe Bom Meihy, Suzana Lopes Salgado Ribeiro and Fabíola Holanda within the scope of the Oral History Studies Center of the University of São Paulo - NEHO/USP. Apontei para os aspectos teóricos e para a práxis de uma História Oral capaz de oferecer algumas bases para a salvaguarda do Patrimônio Imaterial. Para tanto, propus um diálogo dinâmico com diferentes conceitos de Memória, sobretudo conforme compreendida por Joël Candau e Maurice Halbwachs. Apresentei diferentes conceitos em diálogo com autores especialistas em Patrimônio Imaterial, como: Maria Amélia Jundurian Corá, Chiara Bortolotto e Ulpiano Toledo Bezerra de Menses. Além disso, identifiquei procedimentos construídos por José Carlos Sebe Bom Meihy, Suzana Lopes Salgado Ribeiro e Fabíola Holanda no âmbito do Núcleo de Estudos em História Oral – NEHO/USP. Palavras-chave: Memória, História Oral, Patrimônio Imaterial, Teoria.En este artículo, demostré la relación entre la memoria, la historia oral y el patrimonio inmaterial afrobrasileño. Señalé los aspectos teóricos y la praxis de una Historia Oral capaz de ofrecer algunas bases para la salvaguardia del Patrimonio Inmaterial. Para eso, propuse un diálogo dinámico con diferentes conceptos de Memoria, especialmente según lo entendido por Joël Candau y Maurice Halbwachs. Presenté diferentes conceptos en diálogo con autores especializados en Patrimonio Inmaterial, tales como: Maria Amélia Jundurian Corá, Chiara Bortolotto y Ulpiano Toledo Bezerra de Menses. Además, identifiqué los procedimientos construidos por José Carlos Sebe Bom Meihy, Suzana Lopes Salgado Ribeiro y Fabíola Holanda dentro del alcance del Grupo de Estudio de Historia Oral - NEHO / USP.
