Racismo institucional, branquitude e gestão reativa seletiva: desafios para a implementação de ambiente universitário afirmativo

Resumo: The students of lower classes and blacks entering public universities in the context of affirmative action policies have been playing a key role in the transformation of these institutions, once they inquire the social and ethnic-racial profiles of the student body, the institutional organization and, mainly, the curricular matrices. And how has the university management acted to guarantee full educational rights to these audiences? This article aims to analyze how institutional racism and whiteness identified in speeches of managers of a federal University favor a management model that selectively reacts to legal requirements and the demands made by black students, they maintain the coloniality of power/knowledge and hinder the effectiveness of an affirmative university environment, which transcends access policies.

Este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar cómo el racismo institucional y la blanquitud identificados en los discursos de los directivos de una universidad federal favorecen un modelo de gestión que reacciona selectivamente a los requerimientos y demandas legales presentados por los estudiantes negros, mantiene la colonialidad del poder/saber y dificulta la implementación de un modelo de gestión afirmativo, ámbito universitario, que trasciende las políticas de acceso.Os/as estudantes de camadas populares e negros/as ingressantes nas universidades públicas no contexto das políticas afirmativas vêm desempenhando um papel fundamental para a transformação destas instituições, uma vez que indagam os perfis social e étnico-racial do corpo discente, a organização institucional e, principalmente, as matrizes curriculares. E como a gestão universitária tem atuado para garantir os direitos educacionais plenos a esses públicos?
