Disciplina de Didática em cursos de Pedagogia da Paraíba, Ceará e Rio Grande do Norte: uma amostragem regional

This research aimed to investigate the teaching of Didactics in the universities of the states of Paraíba, Ceará and Rio Grande do Norte through the Pedagogical Projects of the Pedagogy Course of the researched units. The questions that supported the construction of this article were: what do the Degrees in Pedagogy of the public universities propose to students, in the official curriculum, about Didactics? How is the discipline of Didactics situated in these degrees in Pedagogy? And is the approach that universities bring to the discipline of Didactics consistent with their training role in undergraduate degrees? In methodological terms, it is a qualitative research, being designated as exploratory, and the data collection technique used was document analysis. A theoretical basis was sought in the studies of Alarcão (2020), Franco (2014), Pimenta (2019), among other authors. The results found allow us to say that universities should pay more attention to this subject, in view of its relevance to teacher training. It is necessary, therefore, to teach the discipline of Didactics showing it as a science, because one of its objectives should be to change the teaching perspective aimed only at methods and lead it to the bias of (trans)formation.
