This work aims to improve the way in which the students of the municipal network are distributed by the enrolment program that the Municipal Department of Education (SEMED) uses, making possible a spatial visualization of reality. It aims to show where the new and old student's registration form can be improved, thus facilitating decision-making for possible new school openings or student management for a better use of space. The study was based on the creation of thematic maps showing the location of the schools, delimiting their area of use using Voronoi diagramming as well as the approximate location of the students being made the relationship of distances between the student/school. The results showed that the distribution of students does not fit within the Statute of the Child and Adolescent, where the relation between distance residence/school, in great part, is not respected.
