Due to the exponential increasing in water consume in the whole world, it is necessary the study in developing new techniques for potable water consuming economy, for example, through rain catchment. It’s a simple technology, where the water is intercepted by the property’s roof, through gutters, vertical and horizontal conductors, until it reaches the lower reservoir, or cistern, and may have the ability of supplying the daily demand at least. The aim of this study is analyze the technical and financial viability of a system able to catch rain water in medium hotel in Delmiro Gouveia, in brazilian semiarid, that lacks good precipitation numbers. Due to the daily high demand of non-potable water was necessary to perform simulations with different values of consumption until the system were technically viable. The results were obtained by using simulation method to sizing of the low reservoir. Once the technical viability of the alternative system was obtained, the next aim was reaching the financial feasibility through discounted payback method, also accomplished. Based on this results, the exploitation of reusing rain water can be considered a fact to hydric management of the enterprise in analysis.
