Vivências de acolhimento noturno em um centro de atenção psicossocial para álcool e outras drogas

In Brasil, the current policy attention to alcohol, crack and other drugs has created a network of services that operates on the principles of harm reduction and psychosocial care. One of the strategic points of attention in this network are the Psychosocial Care Centers for Alcohol and Other Drugs 24 (CAPS ad 24), where the night host is presented as a core technology of care to people who have attention needs due the use of substances. And as in Maceio, there was the recent deployment of this service, broke the following question: How would be getting on the experience of night shelter in CAPSad 24? To answer it was set a goal: to understand the experience of people in night shelter in a CAPSad 24. To reach it was developed this descriptive exploratory study with a qualitative approach. The information was produced by interviewing the subjects who experienced the night shelter in the service, systematic observation and field notes. The information was analyzed using content analysis method proposed by Bardin (2011), supplemented by the records of observation and field. The survey results revealed that the search for service occurred before the perceived need for help due to the loss of control over drug use, for damages caused in this condition and for being on the streets, indicated that this search was given by free will is sometimes encouraged by family and professional network of mental health. The evening reception was well evaluated both arrival and the permanence of users in the service, on arrival they described fast service that has always been done by the multidisciplinary team. About staying in the service, conversation and interpersonal relationships were seen as host of the facilitators, clinical care were present in every speech. The group activities were shown to be the most used in the service, some were well evaluated and others have been criticized. Proved necessary diversification and promotion of therapeutic activities as well as investment in physical infrastructure, material resources and continuing education for professionals. The change components of the multi professional team with the policy management transition had a negative impact reported by most respondents. The night shelter in CAPSad 24 was superior when compared to internment experiences in therapeutic communities and psychiatric hospitals. He highlighted the constant presence and availability of nursing professionals, especially in clinical care and opportunities for dialogue.
