Like the great majority of Brazilian cities, the city of Arapiraca -AL presents inadequate sanitary sewage collection and treatment services in relation to regulatory guidelines. Nevertheless, it is known that it is indispensable to practice these services, where they should not only aim at the preservation and conservation of the environment, through treatment and adequate final disposal, but also consider their environmental impacts. In this work, through the Interaction Matrix and Interaction Network (Diagrams) methods, it will be possible to identify and reference a checklist of all actions, impacts generated and a line of events caused by the phases of implementation and operation of the stretch. The phases will be analyzed separately in the study, due to the perception of impacts generated even before the connection with the drainage equipment (street gutters, wolf mouths, pipes and galleries). As in the period of excavation of the ditches there was flow of effluents and solid waste to the affected areas, that is, generation of impacts before the operation of the stretch. In this way, it will be demonstrated some quantitative attributes of the main environmental impacts caused by the discarded section analyzed. The results presented through the two methods of environmental evaluation in the implantation and operation phases, evidenced the great number of negative impacts in relation to the physical and biotic environment, and presented positive interactions in connection with the anthropic environment. In this way, the analysis will demonstrate the importance of the monitoring and control plan on basic sanitation and urban planning services, as well as the mitigating measures that may be taken to remedy or minimize the modifications imposed on the affected environment.
