M.I.B. à brasileira: a criação do centro de investigação de objetos aéreos não identificados na Força Aérea brasileira (1969-1972)

Resumo: This article aims to unveil the circumstances that led the Brazilian Air Force to establish in its organization chart the Center for Investigation of Unidentified Air Objects (CIOANI) in the late sixties of the twentieth century. We analyzed the bulletins produced by this body, which reveal dozens of curious investigated reports of sightings of strange lights in the sky, humanoid and sketches of discoid ships and in different shapes in the sky and in Brazilian soil. Taking into account the time gap for the disclosure of the documents related to its operations, which occurred almost forty years later, we also sought to problematize the document confidentiality policy in Brazil and to bring to light unpublished official documents from experiences in other countries of America. Latin America, which have similar bodies and deal with it openly.

Foram analisados os boletins produzidos por este órgão, os quais revelam dezenas de curiosos relatos investigados de avistamentos de luzes estranhas no céu, de seres humanoides e croquis de naves discoides e em diferentes formatos nos céus e em solo brasileiro.
