The present work aims to report the importance of the internet as a learning tool for the students enrolled in the classes from 2009 to 2015, in the Mathematics Licentiate course, conducted in the distance modality offered by the Federal University of Alagoas. The proposal is to expand the computational technology seen in the functionality of the AVA teaching platform and in the implementation of the YouTube video sharing site, contributing to a more dynamic learning experience by integrating information and content between students and teachers in a more accessible and structured way. With the expansion of information and communication technologies, it becomes possible to teach and learn with interdisciplinary classes without the physical presence of a teacher. Faced with this growth, this research describes that mathematics can be taught and understood using various technological resources, especially the internet.
