This work aims to discuss the trajectory of Maria de Fatima Cavalcante Bezerra in the White Water municipality -AL, dialoguing with a new field of history; the biography, this is not a biography that gives account of the entire life of the subjects, but contradictions, discontinuities, so this work is based mainly on the writings of Pierre Bourdieu and Geovani Levi dealing in his writings of the need to other new stories about biographee life. Understanding women's participation in political, social and cultural context especially in this city, we propose to highlight the struggle of Maria de Fatima Cavalcante Bezerra for greater participation of society, to the extent that it reached in a major highlight, which crossed macho looks , fighting over political, social and cultural aspects. Thus, understanding their struggle within the historical context in which he lived through his activism for workers' party (PT). Thus, bringing to the city a significant contribution in what concerns the struggle for women's participation in politics, interest in social issues. Analyzing from theoretical references that discuss the significant importance of women in building society and its various achievements. The work showed that machismo and discrimination on women in public space in society is still quite stable, even in the face of the various models of traditional patterns that the woman broke in society, even in the midst of our resistance is possible to come across disrespect social woman.
