Resumo: The military dictatorship in Brazil that began on April 1, 1964, was a period for Brazilian political history that marked several people and segments of society as a whole. People were tortured, censored, arrested and killed because of their political position. And censorship was present in the most varied segments of society as in theater, music, books and education with effective measures. In the first chapter, I demonstrated the reshaping of the educational system after the 1964 coup. A rigorous enforcement of laws against the society that demonstrated an authoritarian and centralizing domain that turned sharply to the restructuring of education. In this way, according to the new political and economic ideology, reforms were turned into the transformation of conventional education into technical education. Finally, I tried to analyze the interference of the dictatorship in the education of the country, noting also the influence of the Brazilian state on it. In the second chapter, I approached groups, decrees, and laws, as well as the efforts of the military government and the ruling class to use education as an instrument for the purpose of training, a mass of subservient workers and exploited by the system which would be destined to contribute to the increase of the profit and the productivity of the big industries. And finally, in the third chapter, how did the reforms of education, both in university education with law 5540/68, and that of basic education with law 5.692

Pessoas foram torturadas, censuradas, presas e mortas por conta de seu posicionamento político. E a censura se fez presente nos mais variados segmentos da sociedade como no teatro, música, livros e na educação com medidas efetivas. No primeiro capítulo, demonstrei a remodelagem que o sistema educacional teve que passar depois de ocorrido o golpe de 1964. Uma rigorosa imposição de leis frente à sociedade que demonstrou um domínio autoritário e centralizador que se voltou intensamente à reestruturação da educação. Dessa maneira, conforme a nova ideologia política e econômica foram realizadas, então, reformas voltadas à transformação da educação convencional em educação tecnicista. Enfim, busquei analisar a interferência da ditadura na educação do país, observando-se ainda, a influência do estado brasileiro sobre a mesma. No segundo capítulo, abordei os grupos, decretos e leis, como também os esforços empreendido pelo governo militar e pela classe dominante para se utilizar a educação como um instrumento com o objetivo voltado para a formação, de uma massa de operários subservientes e explorado pelo sistema econômico, os quais estariam destinados a contribuir para o aumento do lucro e da produtividade das grandes indústrias.
