Over the years, with the population growth resulting from the expansion of the industry and the need for socioeconomic development as well as social well-being, the growing and unrestrained exploitation of environmental areas and their natural resources was noted, in which it was necessary to use of environmental preservation tools such as Environmental Valuation Methods and Environmental Planning. This study aims to identify the main methods of environmental valuation and some of their applications, present environmental planning as a tool for environmental preservation, and finally, show how these tools can help in the development of society together with environmental preservation. In order to highlight and strengthen the foundation of the research when dealing with the importance of such tools in favor of environmental preservation and regional development, the monographic research method was used.
