Resumo: When thinking about the current conjuncture of manauense cinematography, there is a lack of academic works that take as a theme the question of cinema in Manaus. That said, we realize the need for something that will break the barrier of the unprecedented and thus be able to contribute to further work with a view to a socio-cultural analysis that measures and provides a panoramic view of the changes that occurred in the proposed decade from 1999 to 2009. As well as studying the role of the government as a generating center for public policies and analyzing the real meaning of public policies implemented around the Amazonian cinema issue.

Posto isso, percebemos a necessidade de algo que venha a quebrar a barreira do inédito e assim poder contribuir para trabalhos posteriores tendo em vista uma analise sócio-cultural que mensure e que forneça uma vista panorâmica das mudanças ocorridas no decênio proposto de 1999 á 2009.
