Resumo: ABSTRACT: Soy is a legume it has impacts on the economy, due to its commercial value, it is used both in the food industry and in the production of animal feed. In Brazil it occupies most of the crops destined for agriculture. The objective of this work was to identify doses of limestone in the yield of soybean dry mass production in the southern region of the state of Amazon and to determine the dose of liming for the soils of natural grasslands. The study was conducted in the municipality of Humaitá, south of Amazon, in a greenhouse at the Instituto de Education Agriculture e Environment of the Federal University of Amazon. The experiment consisted of a randomized block design. The experiment consisted of a randomized block design. The treatments consisted of a 2x7 factorial design, combining two soil types (Gleisol and Latosol) and seven doses of limestone 0; 1.0; 2.0; 4.0; 6.0; 8.0; 10.0 tons per hectare. The heights of the plants were measured, after which they were removed from the vases and the roots were measured, the shoots and roots were separated. The F test was applied for the analysis of variance. The breakdown of interactions was performed when the F test was significant. Regression analyzes were carried out and those that best fit the data for the production of shoot dry mass (SDMP) and root dry mass (RDM) of soybean were selected. The doses of 8.2 and 8.3 t.ha-1 revealed the highest production of SDMP for the soils. However, high doses are not recommended in a single application and in the same year, which could cause damage to the soil and productivity losses.

No Brasil ela ocupa a maior parte das lavouras destinadas a agricultura. O trabalho teve como objetivo identificar doses de calcário no rendimento da produção de massa seca da soja na região Sul do estado do Amazonas e determinar a dose de calagem para os solos de campos naturais. O estudo foi conduzido no município de Humaitá, sul do Amazonas, em casa de vegetação do Instituto de Educação Agricultura e Ambiente da Universidade Federal do Amazonas. O experimento consistiu em um delineamento em blocos casualizados. Os tratamentos foram constituídos de um design fatorial 2x7, combinando dois tipos de solos (Gleissolo e Latossolo) e sete doses de calcário 0; 1,0; 2,0; 4,0; 6,0; 8,0; 10,0 toneladas por hectares. Foram medidas as alturas das plantas, após foram retiradas dos vasos e medidos as raízes, separadas parte aérea e raízes. Foram aplicados o teste de F para a análise de variância. O desdobramento das interações foi realizado quando o teste F foi significativo. Foram realizadas análises de regressão e selecionadas as que melhor se ajustaram aos dados para produção de massa seca da parte aérea (MSPA) e da massa seca de raiz (MSR) da soja. As doses de 8,2 e 8,3 t.ha-1 revelaram a maior produção de MSPA para os solos.
