Resumo: This report aims to describe the activities developed and monitored during the Mandatory Curricular Internship in the areas of beef cattle with a focus on genetic improvement and swine breeding, for completion of the Animal Science course. The internship was carried out at the company RBL Produtos Agropecuários, Serviços e Participações LTDA - Fazenda Geny, located in the rural area of the city of Iranduba - AM, under the supervision of the technical responsible Veterinary Doctor Francisco Junior Feitoza de Lima, from July 15 to September 8, 2022, totaling 300 hours. During the period, activities related to productive and reproductive management in cattle farming were monitored, such as FTAI protocol, monitoring of food management, marking techniques adopted; in pig farming, activities were carried out at all stages of creation, from farrowing to finishing. The internship was of great importance in professional and personal training, as in addition to the vast knowledge acquired, it also provided preparation for full professional practice.

O estágio foi realizado na empresa RBL Produtos Agropecuários, Serviços e Participações LTDA – Fazenda Geny, situada na zona rural da cidade de Iranduba – AM, sob a supervisão do responsável técnico Médico Veterinário Francisco Junior Feitoza de Lima, no período de 15 de julho a 08 de setembro de 2022, totalizando 300 horas. Durante o período foram acompanhadas as atividades ligadas ao manejo produtivo e reprodutivo na bovinocultura, como protocolo de IATF, acompanhamento do manejo alimentar, técnicas de marcação adotadas; na suinocultura, foram desenvolvidas atividades em todas as fases de criação, da maternidade à terminação.
