Resumo: Children and adolescents in the Amazon experience suffering that is still very common: sexual violence against children and adolescents that plagues those who live in the region. This research aims to problematize the role of the school in preventing and combating sexual violence against children and adolescents in the Amazon region. To achieve the objectives, exploratory, bibliographical and documental research will be carried out with a qualitative approach. The results aim to contribute positively to the academic environment, to the school, and to collaborate even more and mainly with those involved who are protagonists in the investigation. Becoming aware of the subject is extremely important, even if it is not eradicated, but it contributes to society not continuing to reproduce the same pattern that pervades when talking about child and youth violence. Keywords: Sexual violence, Children and teenagers, School, Amazon.As crianças e os/as adolescentes da Amazônia vivenciam um sofrimento ainda muito comum: a violência sexual infantojuvenil que assola aqueles/as que residem na região. Esta pesquisa tem por objetivo problematizar a função do papel da escola frente à prevenção e ao combate contra a violência sexual infantojuvenil na região amazônica. Para alcançar os objetivos, será realizada pesquisa de cunho exploratório, bibliográfico e documental com abordagem qualitativa. Os resultados almejam contribuir positivamente para o meio acadêmico, para escola, e colaborar ainda e principalmente para os/as envolvidos/as que são protagonistas na investigação. Tomar conhecimento do assunto é importantíssimo, ainda que não seja erradicado, mas contribui para que a sociedade não continue a reproduzir o mesmo padrão que se perpassa quando se fala em violência infantojuvenil.
