Resumo: The creation of the PA Bóia settlement project is associated with the history of the region, with the demarcation of indigenous lands that occurred in the Javari valley. In this context, the research was to know the agricultural diversity in the settlement project. The Bóia settlement is of the Settlement Project (PA) type, through which land is allocated to traditional populations, in environments whose territorial distribution to families is for land acquisition. The approach to farmers was with the application of a form with objective and subjective questions about the species cultivated and the forms of management. Twenty-six species were found to be cultivated on the plots. The species found were also classified as fruit, vegetables, tuberous root and annuals with perennial, annual and short cycle production cycles. The purpose of these species is for self-consumption, sale and sale to the Food Acquisition Program/PAA. As for the management, it was identified cutting and burning and fallow of capoeiras, absence of fertilization, preference for cleaning the area during the summer specifically in the month of May. It is concluded that knowing the common practices among farmers can be a tool to understand and, from there, propose to farmers increases to crops.
