This study assesses the impact of infrastructure investments in the city of Manaus in terms of socio-economic and environmental development, aiming to identify gaps and opportunities for enhancing investment policies. The use of a survey research approach was employed to obtain qualitative results, with the goal of measuring and presenting the perspective of a portion of the city's population. Through the aforementioned approach, valuable insights were gained into the population's perception of these investments, such as the fact that a significant portion does not recognize that the infrastructure investments made in recent years actually bring improvements to the city. The findings suggest that, although significant efforts have been made to improve the city's infrastructure, there are still challenges and gaps to be overcome. Based on the results, it is recommended that investment policies be enhanced and directed to meet the needs and aspirations of the community. Additionally, the creation of public-private partnerships and engagement of civil society can play a crucial role in the city's sustainable development. This study is expected to provide a solid foundation for guiding future decision-making in terms of planning and resource allocation for Manaus' infrastructure, with the aim of promoting a more prosperous, inclusive, and environmentally conscious city. In conclusion, the importance of infrastructure investments in driving the socio-economic and environmental development of Manaus is emphasized.
