Resumo:  In 1999, forestry engineer Jorge Viana was elected governor of the State of Acre, establishing since then a political hegemony of the Workers' Party in Acre. These managements were marked by a strong patrimonial policy of intervention in public spaces. Despite this, we aim to promote a reflection on the aesthetic, narrative and discourses underlying the architectural changes promoted by these governments. This endeavor had the contributions of Sandra Iatahy Pesavento (2002), Maria de Jesus Morais (2016) and Ana Carla C. Lima (2011). Such readings, together with documentary research and field research, led us to understand these urban transformations, as an attempt to create an ecosystem of acceptance of the policies defended by the workers' party.

Universidade Federal do Amazonas2023-12-30info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://www.periodicos.ufam.edu.br/index.php/Canoa_do_Tempo/article/view/1252110.38047/rct.v15.FC.2023.dha1.p.1.24Canoa do Tempo; v. 15 (2023); 1-242594-81481982-075510.38047/rct.v15.FC.2023reponame:Canoa do Tempo (Online)instname:Universidade Federal do Amazonas (UFAM)instacron:UFAMporhttps://www.periodicos.ufam.edu.br/index.php/Canoa_do_Tempo/article/view/12521/9114Copyright (c) 2023 Canoa do TempoEsta obra está licenciada sob uma <a rel =" license "href =" http: / /creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/ ">info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessBezerra, Antonio Maicon2023-08-24T05:35:12Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/12521Revistahttps://www.periodicos.ufam.edu.br/index.php/Canoa_do_TempoPUBhttps://www.periodicos.ufam.edu.br/index.php/Canoa_do_Tempo/oaicanoadotempo@gmail.com||2594-81481982-0755opendoar:2023-08-24T05:35:12Canoa do Tempo (Online) - Universidade Federal do Amazonas (UFAM)false
