Resumo: This text address the phenomenon of consciousness of individuals, performing a brief overview of the key elements to understand the process of political consciousness of Physical Education teachers. This is a larger study, which analyzes how is the teachers formation and political engagement, and in the limits of this article, we present the elements for the understanding of expressions of their political consciousness. It seeks to recover the "movement" of consciousness, since it believes that this is not something given and gravel, which can be seen without relating it to their development process, embedded in the history of its formation.

Se trata de un estudio más amplio, que analiza cómo es la formación de los docentes y el compromiso político, y en los límites de este artículo, presentamos los elementos para la comprensión de las expresiones de su conciencia política. Se trata de recuperar el "movimiento" de la conciencia, ya que considera que esto no es algo dado y grava, que puede ser visto sin relacionarlo con su proceso de desarrollo, incrustado en la historia de su formación.O presente texto objetiva abordar o fenômeno da consciência dos indivíduos, realizando um breve apanhado dos elementos centrais para compreender o processo de consciência política de professores de Educação Física. Trata-se de uma pesquisa mais ampla, que procura analisar como se dá a formação e o engajamento políticos de professores, sendo que, nos limites deste artigo, apresentamos os elementos para a compreensão das manifestações de sua consciência política.
