Resumo: This article aims to share experiences of the ongoing changing process of direction and quality of public education at Limeira-SP city, which consists of a re-structure of the Public Education Network with reference to the historical-critical pedagogy. The article has four main topics: brief overview of the city of Limeira-SP; administrative and pedagogical conditions of the Municipal Public Education Network in Limeira-SP in 2012; chosen ways for re-structuring the Municipal Public Education Network in Limeira-SP and, as conclusion, a few theoretical challenges in the way forward, which, in our view, should have a systematized study.
