Resumo: The representational space of Amazonas’ amateur football presents great amount of richness in the appropriation of its elements, creating complex relations and territorialities. One of these appropriation forms occurs when football is vinculated to (religious or folkloric) festivals. So, the present study aims at analyzing the way football is associated to festivals in the representational space of Amazonas’ amateur football.
