Resumo: According to geographer Pedro de Almeida Vasconcelos, the dense periods correspond to moments of too much intensity, which occur transformative events for a city or any space. The thesis defended in this article is that the interval between the second half of the nineteenth century and the first half of the twentieth century, marked, among other things, by the introduction of the social habit of salty sea baths and the consequent seaside urbanization, constitutes a dense period for the Recife beach space production.
