However we describe the surface reconstruction by a tIme dependent GlOzburg-Landau equation. With realistic values ofthe rate constants the region of oscillations in the P eo X Po, diagram extends to very low values of the partial pressures (Peo = 1.5 X 10-6 Torr, Po, = 2.7 X 10-5 Torr) in agreement with the experimental results.
