Calling attention to the fact that a11 the subjects in the field of lhe African influences in Brazil should be interdisciplinary, for both anthropologists and linguists deal with empirical evidentes underlying which some factors of socio-anthropological and etno-linguistics interract; Y.P.C. remarks that in the suruivals and religious orientations preserved by the negroes in the Americas, a terminology of African origin specific to the ritualistic ceremonies and magic-semantic aspect was preserued more as perfonnance than as linguistic competence.
