Resumo: The development of Geographical Indications (GIs) in Brazil is recent and has wines as protagonists, with the first GI recognized in 2002. Today, Brazil has six recognized and four ongoing GIs of wines. This paper aims to present a diagnostic of the current GIs of Brazilian wines, systematizing a dashboard from primary and secondary data. The indicators dashboard is structured in six areas: production structure, evaluation, adoption of innovation, opportunities and barriers, expectation, GI potential. The indicator dashboard allows a transversal and comprehensive view of the themes addressed and the GIs, even in different phases of maturation and consolidation. The results point out that the GIs have been bringing important contributions from the point of view of technology adoption and promotion of the regions. Also, the producers are satisfied with the GI and see great development prospects for their GIs and the theme as a whole in Brazil.

O desenvolvimento das Indicações Geográficas (IGs) no Brasil é recente e tem o protagonismo dos vinhos, com a primeira IG reconhecida em 2002. Hoje, o Brasil conta com seis IGs de vinhos reconhecidas e quatro em estruturação. O objetivo do artigo é apresentar um diagnóstico das IGs brasileiras de vinhos, sistematizando um painel de indicadores a partir de dados primários e secundários. O painel possui seis áreas: estrutura de produção, avaliação, adoção de inovação, oportunidades e barreiras, expectativa, potencial para outra modalidade de IG. O formato permite uma visão transversal dos temas e das IGs, mesmo em diferentes fases de amadurecimento e consolidação. Os resultados apontam que as IGs vêm trazendo importantes contribuições do ponto de vista de adoção de tecnologias e de visibilidade das regiões.
