The e-ARQ Brazil Model and the Information System Used by the Federal Education Institutions in the Country

Resumo: The e-government strategy of Brazil has as one of its objectives to preferentially adopt the implementation of the Electronic Information System (SEI) in Federal Education Institutions (IFES) as a plan for innovation and modernization of institutions and policies for document management. However, this strategy of innovation and modernization presents a challenge considering that this system does not meet the Requirements for Computerized Archival Document Management Systems (e-ARQ Brazil). Within this context, the study aims to map and analyze which computerized information systems are used by IFES that are in compliance with e-ARQ Brazil through the application of the Survey method. The results of this method show which systems are in accordance with e-ARQ Brazil.

Todavia, essa estratégia de inovação e de modernização apresenta desafios, tendo em vista que esse sistema não atende aos Requisitos para Sistemas Informatizados de Gestão Arquivística de Documentos (e-ARQ Brasil). Dentro desse contexto, o estudo tem como objetivo identificar e comparar quais sistemas informatizados de informações utilizados pelas IFES estão em conformidade com o e-ARQ Brasil por intermédio da aplicação do método Survey.
