WHY ARE THEY ELECTED WOMEN REPRESENTATIVES? (ELECTIONS 2018-2022)

Resumo: The article aims to analyze the profile of women elected federal representatives for the first time in 2018 and 2022, at both ends of the political spectrum organized around PT and PSL –PL. We collected data on the previous life on two sheets, one with personal information and one with political life information in private and public sites in the social media. We concluded form the analysis of the data that the new far right representatives in 2018 formed their electoral base on the street movements from 2013 onwards, while the left representatives followed traditional patterns of political trajectory: elective positions of lesser importance; student or union militancy. In 2022, the new representatives from the right arrive at the Chamber with previous party life, as councilors, mayors, local representatives, pointing to the existence of political careers. On theleft there is a significant change: a small number of representatives had strong militancy in the black, LGBTQIA+ or feminist movements.

Nous avons collecté des données de la vie antérieure des députés dans deux fichiers, l’un avec des données personnelles et l’autre avec des données de la vie politique, dans des sites privés et publics dans les médias sociaux. De l’examen des données, nous avons conclu que les nouveaux députés de l’extrême droite en 2018 ont été formés leur base électorale dans les mouvements de rue à partir de 2013, tandis que les représentants de la gauche ont suivi des schémas traditionnels de trajectoire politique: postes électifs de moindre importance ; militantisme étudiant ou syndical. En 2022, les nouveaux de députés la droite arrivent à la Chambre avec une vie de parti antérieure, comme conseillers, maires, députés régional, ce qui renforce l’existence de carrières politiques. À gauche il y a un changement significatif : un petit nombre de députés avaient un fort militantisme dans les mouvements noirs, LGBTQIA+, féministes.Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar o perfil das deputadas federais eleitas pela primeira vez em 2018 e 2022, nos dois extremos do espectro político organizados em torno do Partido dos Trabalhadores (PT) e dos Partido Social Liberal-Partido Liberal (PSL-PL). Recolhemos os dados da vida anterior das deputadas em duas fichas, uma com dados pessoais e outra com dados da vida política, através de sites oficiais e privados nas redes sociais. Da análise dos dados, concluímos que as novas deputadas da extrema direita em 2018 formaram sua base eleitoral nos movimentos de rua a partir de 2013, enquanto as representantes da esquerda seguiram padrões tradicionais de trajetória política: cargos eletivos de menor importância e militância estudantil ou sindical. Em 2022, as novas deputadas da direita chegam à Câmara dos Deputados com vida partidária anterior, como vereadoras, prefeitas e deputadas estaduais, apontando a existência de carreiras políticas.
