Reconhecimento de atividades humanas (HAR) com crianças em contexto educacionalHUMAN ACTIVITY RECOGNITIONDISPOSITIVOS VESTÍVEISINFORMÁTICA NA EDUCAÇÃOAPRENDIZADO DE MÁQUINAWEARABLESTECHNOLOGY IN EDUCATIONMACHINE LEARNINGPROGRAMA DE PÓS-GRADUAÇÃO EM CIÊNCIA DA COMPUTAÇÃO - UFABCOrientadora: Profa. Dra. Carla Lopes RodriguezCoorientadora: Profa. Dra. The objective observation of a child’s behavior in the classroom can be done using motion sensors, which can generate information about the level of agitation, concentration, and engagement. The Human Activity Recognition (HAR), together with wearable sensors with accelerometers, have helped in the objective capture and analysis of the movement and behavior of individuals. However, in the case of an applied context of the classroom and with children, there are still some limitations: the lack of databases in the context, the difference in the expression of activities by adults and children, and between each child. Thus, it is necessary the exploration of HAR in the proposed context, also considering the student’s motor and affective dimensions. Through a case study in the field, a data collection was carried out with inertial wearable sensors of the activities of two classes of the second year of Elementary School. The data was then analyzed considering the moment of the class, level of attention, and activities of each student. A public database for further studies on the subject was created. Also, the students’ activities in class were recognized and classified, and the school routine of this study’s volunteers in the scenario of the pandemic was analysed.Rodriguez, Carla LopesMotti, Vivian GenaroGoya, Denise HidekoNeris, Vania Paula de AlmeidaFerreira, Poliana Nascimento2022info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisapplication/pdf122 f. : il.http://biblioteca.ufabc.edu.br/index.php?codigo_sophia=124705http://biblioteca.ufabc.edu.br/index.php?codigo_sophia=124705&midiaext=80963Cover: http://biblioteca.ufabc.edu.br/php/capa.php?obra=124705porreponame:Repositório Institucional da UFABCinstname:Universidade Federal do ABC (UFABC)instacron:UFABCinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2023-08-18T14:53:33Zoai:BDTD:124705Repositório InstitucionalPUBhttp://www.biblioteca.ufabc.edu.br/oai/oai.phpopendoar:2023-08-18T14:53:33Repositório Institucional da UFABC - Universidade Federal do ABC (UFABC)false |
