Pesquisamos sua história, em que contexto histórico, econômico e político o país vivia quando o cordel foi evidenciado no Brasil. Além disso, lançamos luz sobre o berço do cordel, sobre os principais impulsionadores desse gênero poético literário e como ele foi se desenvolvendo ao longo do tempo até chegar no dias de hoje, uma cultura produzida e reconhecida, por todo o país. Trabalhamos alguns aspectos que caracterizam esse desenvolvimento: avaliamos algumas organizações, o movimento Caravana do Cordel em São Paulo/SP e a Associação Cultural Estação do Cordel em Natal/RN, buscando outras experiências existentes no mundo do cordel que foram fundamentais para que hoje os poetas populares contemporâneos tenham mais possibilidade de êxito em suas trajetórias. Trazemos as experiências dos cordelistas que nelas se organizam, produzem e movimentam o cordel. Finalizando com as trajetórias individuais que compõem esses movimentos, como se construíram enquanto poetas, como contribuem para a construção do cordel no Brasil, seus sucessos e dificuldades, encontrados ao longo do percurso da produção do cordel em seus locais de vivência.Cordelistas: cordel's trajectories and transformation it is an analysis about the way of the cordel's route to the presents days. We searched it's histories, in wich context historic, economic and politic the country was living when the cordel was evidenced in Brazil. Besides that, we shed light on the the cradle of the cordel, about the main drives of this literature And poetic gender and How it was developing as the time passed to the presents days, some culture made and recognized in all of the country.We worked in some aspects that caracterize this developing: we evalueted some organizationsl, the Caravana Cordel's movement in São Paulo/SP and the Cultural Association Estation of the Cordel in Natal/RN, searching for others experiencies that exist in the Cordel's world that was fundamental, in this time, to the contemporanies and popular poets have more possibilities of success in his trajectories. We broght the cordelistas' experiencies in wich that organize, produce and moviment the cordel.
