A pesquisa descreve também a influência da motivação sobre a tríade SIR, proposta por Gerard Vergnaud. A coleta de dados ocorreu durante o oferecimento da disciplina Funções e Reações Orgânicas (2º quadrimestre/2016) na Universidade Federal do ABC. Uma das situações integrantes à disciplina foi a tarefa intitulada como Minha Molécula Preferida (MMP), que teve andamento de forma paralela às aulas. O foco central desta tarefa foi o de construir coletivamente investigação sobre o contexto histórico, influência na sociedade e fornecimento de pelo menos 2 etapas de síntese envolvendo uma molécula-alvo, previamente selecionada pela equipe de professores e monitores responsáveis pela disciplina. 23 moléculas foram oferecidas aos estudantes e 23 grupos foram formalizados. Ao final da disciplina, os(as) estudantes deveriam apresentar um pôster com respectiva avaliação de professores especialistas em Química Orgânica. Cada grupo atuante, trabalhou com a orientação de tutores elencados pelo professor responsável. Ao todo, 7 grupos foram analisados (n=35). A coleta de dados ocorreu durante os encontros de tutoria, apresentação final dos(as) estudantes e também em entrevistas com os(as) estudantes após o término da disciplina. A análise de dados contou com registros audiovisuais e notas de campo que balizaram a Análise Textual Discursiva e também com um instrumento em escala Likert seguido de Pesquisa Qualitativa Consensual (CQR). Subsidiaram a análise de dados a Teoria dos Campos Conceituais e a Teoria da Autodeterminação. Como resultados, concluiu-se que os aspectos motivacionais influenciam no estilo de enfrentamento de problemas pelos(as) estudantes no campo da estrutura e reatividade de compostos orgânicos. Os dados revelaram que um perfil motivacional próximo a Motivação Intrínseca garante melhores rotinas de trabalho, integração em grupo e cumprimento das tarefas obrigatórias, coadunando com um esquema coletivo. Em contraste, o perfil motivacional díspares da Motivação Intrínseca leva a condutas isoladas por integrantes de um determinado grupo, causando muitas vezes, problemas de caráter conceitual e também no quesito cumprimento das atividades obrigatórias.The present work describes research on the role of Extrinsic and Intrinsic Motivation in Organic Chemistry learning in undergraduate students solving group tasks. The research also describes the influence of motivation on the SIR triad, proposed by Gerard Vergnaud. The data collection took place during the offering of the discipline Functions and Organic Reactions (2nd quarter / 2016) at the Federal University of ABC. One of the situations that were part of the discipline was the task entitled My Preferred Molecule (MMP), which was carried out in parallel with the classes. The central focus of this task was to collectively construct research on the historical context, influence in society and provide at least 2 stages of synthesis involving a target molecule, previously selected by the team of teachers and monitors responsible for the discipline. 23 molecules were offered to students and 23 groups were formalized. At the end of the course, the students should present a poster with their respective evaluation of professors specialized in Organic Chemistry. Each working group worked with the guidance of tutors listed by the responsible teacher. In all, 7 groups were analyzed (n = 35). The data collection took place during the mentoring meetings, the final presentation of the students and also in interviews with the students after the end of the course. Data analysis included audio-visual records and field notes that marked the Discursive Textual Analysis and also with a Likert-scale instrument followed by Consensual Qualitative Research (CQR). They subsidized the analysis of data the Theory of Conceptual Fields and the Theory of Self-determination. As results, it was concluded that the motivational aspects influence the students' style of coping with problems in the structure and reactivity of organic compounds. The data revealed that a motivational profile close to Intrinsic Motivation guarantees better work routines, group integration and fulfillment of the obligatory tasks, in accordance with a collective scheme.
