Resumo: This article, an integral part of a research in development at the Professional Master's level in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT), is intended to reflect on the teaching of philosophy from an omnilateral human formation perspective, reflecting on the notions of work as an educational principle and polytechnic education. Bibliographic in nature, the research is approached from three points: the relationship between philosophy and education; work as an educational principle in human formation; and, finally, polytechnic education based on the concept of omnilateral training.

De naturaleza bibliográfica, la investigación se aborda desde tres puntos: la relación entre filosofía y educación; trabajar como principio educativo en la formación humana; y, finalmente, la educación politécnica basada en el concepto de formación omnilateral.O presente artigo, parte integrante de uma pesquisa em desenvolvimento em nível de Mestrado Profissional em Educação Profissional e Tecnológica (ProfEPT), destina-se a fazer uma reflexão sobre o ensino de filosofia numa perspectiva de formação humana omnilateral, refletindo sobre as noções de trabalho como princípio educativo e a educação politécnica.
