Resumo: | Through a brief historical recovery seek to describe the main trends in the world of work in Brazil. The emphasis of the essay focuses on the current anticipated transition to the service society, whose significant change can be observed in the functioning of the labor market itself. Also considers the the prevalence of massive open unemployment, the expansion of underutilization of the labor force and the generalization of precariousness in occupations due to the absence of economic growth and the return of neoliberal reforms. The result has been the increasing polarization within the world of work. |

A través de una breve recuperación histórica, buscamos describir las principales tendencias en el mundo del trabajo en Brasil. El énfasis del ensayo se centra en la transición anticipada actual a la sociedad de servicios, cuyo cambio significativo se puede ver en el funcionamiento mismo del mercado laboral. También consideramos el predominio del desempleo abierto masivo, la expansión de la subutilización de la fuerza laboral y la generalización de la precariedad en las ocupaciones debido a la falta de crecimiento económico y el retorno de las reformas neoliberales. El resultado ha sido una creciente polarización en el mundo del trabajo.Através de breve recuperação histórica busca-se descrever as principais tendências do mundo do trabalho no Brasil. A ênfase do ensaio focaliza a atual transição antecipada para a sociedade de serviços, cuja alteração significativa pode ser observada no próprio funcionamento do mercado de trabalho. Também se considera a predominância do massivo desemprego aberto, da ampliação da subutilização da força de trabalho e da generalização da precarização nas ocupações em função da ausência de crescimento econômico e do retorno das reformas neoliberais.
