Resumo: The review aims to synthesize the main ideas the British neuroscientist Anil Seth developed in his latest work, entitled "Being You: a new science of consciousness", released in 2021. In this book, the author seeks to develop his theory of controlled hallucinations based on the theoretical framework of Predictive Processing and what he called the "Real Problem". The book addresses current issues in the sciences of consciousness, focusing on the first-person perspective (self).
