The supervised internship aims to promote the development of skills and competences necessary for the training of psychology students, becoming a crucial moment of transitionbetween student and Professional roles. The present work consists of an account of the experience derived fromthe internship practices developed during three semesters by the students of Psychology course of the University Center Dr. Leão Sampaio, matriculate in the emphasis Psychology and Management Processes. We Will discuss here the configuration of the conflict mediation service as an institutional practice, the entrance of the Psychology in the service and structuring of its activities in the daily life of the internship field and the reflexes of this work in the dynamic organization. As methodological strategies, academic supervision was used as a place to systematize the phenomena and discuss the practices, as well as the field records brought by the trainees. We believe that the space built by psychology in the field of internship has promoted significant changes not only in the operational dimension, but also in elements at the strategic and political levels of the institution and profession, enabling a practice more aligned with the principles that guide public advocacy as a place of access to and promotion of citizenship.
