A Produção científica dos Encontros Nacionais de Pesquisa em Ciência da Informação (1994- 2019): um olhar sob o protagonismo social das mulheres e a mediação da informação

The study aims to analyze the social protagonism of women through scientific production on women, gender and feminism, published in the annals of the National Research Meeting in Information Science, between 1994 and 2019. Methodologically, it is a bibliographical, exploratory and descriptive research, with a qualitative approach. The corpus was composed of 58 works, analyzed using the scientometric technique. The results show that there is incipient scientific production on women, gender and feminism in IC, however, there has been progress in the last decade. It notes that the works analyzed were produced by 76 researchers, most of whom are women. The author(s) are from twenty different institutions and GTs 3, 7, 10 and 11 were the ones that most presented works on the analyzed themes. It considers that women are considered social protagonists because they demonstrate, in their work, the importance of making visible informational content related to women, gender and feminism, with a view to generating new knowledge based on gender equity.
