Resumo: The Reorientation Program of the Health Professional Training (Pro-Health) was launched in November 2005 by the Ministry of Health and Education. Relying on the cooperation of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), they have assumed the responsibility of giving technical and financial support for the courses they choose for facing the processes of change on the basis of professional formation, inserting the students in real scenarios of practice, with emphasis on primary care since the beginning of their formation.
