Resumo: This article of bibliographical revision has been developed with the objective of defining the psychobiological needs and presenting its more frequent manifestations in the elderly, aiming at a better understanding of these necessities and a better attendance to the elderly and, at the same time, at filling a gap in the Theory of the Basic Human Need, by Horta, that is the non-existence of definitions for the majority of psychobiological necessities.
