Resumo: The article analyzes the concepts of freedom in Marx and Foucault from the point of view of their strategies. Our hypothesis is that the thinking of these two authors operate in two areas not always compatible, and in two instances that are not reducible to each other. I am interested less on the implication of concepts within the discursive regime of philosophy, and more on the contributions of both concepts of freedom understood as technologies. One technology explores a freedom in the surface of the reproduction of material life, while the other explores the freedom in the context of ethical decolonization.

O artigo analisa os conceitos de liberdade em Marx e Foucault de um ponto de vista estratégico. Partimos da hipótese de que os dois pensamentos se movem em dois registros de investimento nem sempre compatíveis, e em dois recortes de realidade que não se reduzem um ao outro. Interessa-nos, como traz o título, menos a implicação de conceitos dentro do regime discursivo da filosofia, e mais as contribuições de duas liberdades pensadas como tecnologias. Uma tecnologia explora uma liberdade no plano da reprodução da vida material, já a outra no plano da descolonização ética.
