Resumo: It is a fact sufficiently known that the space, time and matter concepts play central role in the Leibniz’ philosophy; the strong opposition that it has made to the same concepts used in the Newtonian and Cartesian philosophy is prove of that. In this sense, we intend to offer a series of considerations that leaves from these concepts in its relation with one another fundamental concept of the leibnizian philosophy: the substance concept. From these introductory considerations, we believe to be able to constitute important part of to exit of the labyrinth of the continuous.

Nesse sentido, pretendemos oferecer uma série de considerações que partem desses conceitos em sua relação com outro conceito fundamental da filosofia leibniziana: o conceito de substância.
