Resumo: From a conjunction of thought, literature and cinema, the text runs through the variations of the see, hear and narrate between Walter Benjamin, Graciliano Ramos and Wim Wenders. Th e tension established among Firmino and Alexandre – the blind and the storyteller conceived by Graciliano Ramos – leads us to the infl ection of another perception for what Walter Benjamin pointed as a sign of lack of experience in the contemporary city, one of the conditions of disappearance of collective experience, personifi ed in the elusive fi gure of the storyteller. Th e insistent demand for traces of this experience still exist under of the current shadow it invites us to think the experience under the sign of blindness. We could then, in ethnographic experience or everyday life of cities, say what has never been told? We could learn to communicate something through this blindness?

We could then, in ethnographic experience or everyday life of cities, say what has never been told? We could learn to communicate something through this blindness?
