Resumo: This paper has the goal of debating processes through which discursive interpellations and identity conformations commonly known as “bolsonarism” are operated. In order to do so, firstly we resort to Ernesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe, approaching the establishment of political power as a successful articulation of “political hegemony”. Secondly, we revisit the problem of conflict as a foundational category in Psychoanalysis, fostering the argument that unconscious motions are capable of orienting rationally justified social action. Lastly, we argue that the subject who is unable to relate to the world as well as to oneself in the constant maneuvering and production of alterities is a subject susceptible to common discursive interpellations from far-right hues in general, and from the so-called “bolsonarism” in particular.
