Resumo: This paper discusses the current - and constant - restructuring of phonographic markets, analyzing especially the impact of the revolution in information and communication technologies (ICTs) and the advent of cyber culture, understood as new mode of reproducibility cultural property. It is argued that the dematerialization of music, joined to the network diffusion process (via the Internet), raised new habits of production, circulation and consumption in the music business. The object of this research is on the case study conducted with Andread Jó, autonomous reggae producer from Fortaleza-CE. It is concluded that, on the one hand it is necessary analyze the music business taking its 'dual' form (indies and majors), on the other, it is perceived that 'within' mainstream seek to adopt strategies that 'outside' have produced strategic differential effect, including the marketing of music via streaming and the use of other online music services. Sociologically market structures advance themselves and relationally, different social actors connect themselves in a dynamic, plural and open business opportunities network in the field called "independent music". The result can be expressed in more possibilities of access to cultural goods market, both by musicians, as by listeners.
