GRAMSCI AND HIS EXPANDED CONCEPTION OF STATE: AN UPDATE

Resumo: The present time suggests that the "political society" brings  for itself the condition of promoter of "passive revolutions", a in order to recompose the capitalist hegemony. In accord to Gramsci’s argument, however, the "finishing" of the State in the sense of the re-absorption of "political society" into  society" will be realized with the taking of the power for the "expanded class". The concept of really democratic State, not only extended, but integral, is the result of the theoretical contribution of Gramsci. Thus, it is affirmed" regulated society" whose ethical and educative function is to promote the democracy, the freedom and the rise of each individual and to the condition of self-determined subjects of their self-social life.

O conceito de Estado realmente democrático, não apenas ampliado, mas integral, é o resultado da contribuição teórica de Gramsci.
