Tecnologias utilizadas na assistência domiciliar ao idoso: revisão integrativa de literatura

Introduction: Population aging results in new health demands, thus it requires the adoption of innovative practices. However, it is expected that these new practices will improve health care, especially at home. Objective: Identify technologies used in home care for the elderly in the scope of Primary Health Care. Method: This is an integrated literature review, the articles were selected from PubMed / MEDLINE, SCOPUS and EBSCO / Host databases. The controlled descriptors were: Aged, Home Nursing and Technology. Six Papers were selected because they met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The Consolidated Criteria for Reporting Qualitative Research (COREQ) tool was used to analyze the Articles. Results: The use of technological resources in home care was performed in the United Kingdom, United States, Brazil and Norway. The studies are classified as: two descriptive, two qualitative, one randomized clinical trial and one observational. The study with the highest COREQ score achieved 24 of the 32 items of the instrument. Conclusion: The technology is favorable to fulfill health demands of the elderly and the complexity of actions that can be performed at home.
