The main objective of this study was indicative of adverse selection in individual and group dental plans, specifically in Odontosystem company. The main features of adverse selection, a type of information asymmetry which is present in several market sectors were exposed. Then we saw that the market for dental plans has grown in recent years, the function of these plans is not only to treat a dental problem, but it is also a way to protect themselves financially, so the uncertainty of the onset of a disease interferes with demand plans. After we differentiate supply and demand in services and dental plans, which We made a brief comment on the laws and decrees involving this matter, identifying certain peculiarities of this market. The methodology used was through statistical techniques, where the analysis of customers' individual and collective plans was made, more precisely, by the Mann-Whitney-Wilcoxon test. We came to the conclusion that customer group plans take longer to use the plan for the first time.
