User research e cirurgia bariátrica: analisando a jornada do paciente bariátrico e o uso de aplicativos como suporte a mudança de comportamento alimentar

Resumo: Obese people have aimed a life quality change when they have bariatric surgery. However, the weight loss journey is long and challenging. One of the most important points for its success is a lifestyle change commitment. Because of this, there is a question: how technology could help this process? Faced with this, aim, aimed to propose an idea for a mobile app focussed on bariatric patients that supports the surgical journey and changing eating behavior. The work was structured on the first two plans of Garrett's Framework. Thus, several User Research methods were used: netnography, interviews, benchmarking all of them as a way to deepen in the user's context and needs. Finally, a value proposition was created and a list of requirements was specified that aimed for a mobile application, which is the solution that follows the bariatric patient journey.

No entanto, a jornada para perder peso é longa e desafiadora. Um dos pontos mais importantes para o seu sucesso é o compromisso com a mudança de estilo de vida. Por isso,fica o questionamento: como a tecnologia poderia ajudar nesse processo? Frente a isso, como objetivo, visou-se propor uma ideia de um aplicativo mobile focado em pacientes bariátricos que apoie a jornada cirúrgica e a mudança de comportamento alimentar. O trabalho foi estruturado nos dois primeiros planos do Framework de Garrett. Assim, foram utilizados vários métodos de Pesquisa de Usuário: netnografia, entrevistas, benchmarking, todos como forma de aprofundar no contexto e nas necessidades do usuário.
