Resumo: This study investigated the importance of the process of separating Polyvinyl Butyral film and windshield glass to recycle windshields as a way to enable their correct disposal in the environment, with the benefit of establishing logistic reverse in trade and encouraging glass in Fortaleza. In addition, it sought to research the methods and processes involved in the recycling of vehicle windshields, analyze the possibility of creating logistic reverse for the replacement trade of these devices, indicate to the windshield replacement trade the best way to ship their glass for recycling and outline ways to make it easier for companies to establish reverse logistic to facilitate windshield recycling. Therefore, bibliographic research in books, scientific articles, websites, virtual magazines and case studies were used as a method for data collection, through the application of three models of questionnaires, the first in three companies in the field of automotive glass in Fortaleza/CE, the second with a recycler located in the state of São Paulo/SP, and the third with an automotive glass manufacturer operating throughout the country. From the bibliographical research, it was possible to see how windshield recycling works, the glass separation method, the most used PVB and which are the most efficient methods to separate materials. In addition to the results of the case study, the feasibility of implementing a reverse logistics system applied to the disposal of automotive glass within the companies was verified, although there is difficulty in collecting and transporting this waste, as there are no companies specialized in recycling for- breezes in the region, and there is no return policy on the part of the manufacturers. It is concluded that it is opportune and advantageous for the environment and future generations to engage in the correct disposal of automotive glass. Finally, through the study carried out and the future goals presented, it was possible to envision a cleaner society committed to a more sustainable future, reusing materials that were previously abusively discarded in nature.

Nogueira, Ricardo Emílio Ferreira QuevedoFarias, Kalyne Mayara Carneiro Martins2022-03-29T16:45:49Z2022-03-29T16:45:49Z2022info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/bachelorThesisapplication/pdfFARIAS, Kalyne Mayara Carneiro Martins.
