Análise da qualidade de desinfetantes e águas sanitárias comercializados em Maranguape – CE

Sanitizing products are used daily by the Brazilian population and, among the functions they perform, the disinfection of spaces and surfaces stands out. The emergence of SARS-CoV-2, triggering the pandemic of COVID-19, made this function even more important, as it contributes to inactivate the virus and to slow the spread of the disease. However, in order to actually promote disinfection, sanitizing need to have proven efficacy and quality. In Brazil, the organ responsible for inspecting these products is ANVISA. Unfortunately, the number of irregular sanitizing products in circulation has been increasing in recent years. In this context, the present review aims to analyze the quality of disinfectants and sanitary waters marketed in Maranguape - CE, based on the following parameters: pH, labeling and registration, active chlorine content and cationic active matter content. Twenty-six samples were analyzed, seventeen of disinfectants and nine of sanitary waters. In order to determine whether the analyzed parameters followed the criteria established by the legislation, the following RDCs were based: nº 14/2007, nº 59/2010 and nº 110/2016. According to the results obtained for the analyzed parameters, it was found that only three of the twenty-six samples met all the criteria required by the legislation, which demonstrates the necessity to intensify the inspection of sanitizing products, in order to guarantee the quality of the product that reaches to the consumer.
